There is a famous saying that “all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” We at Apna Ghar, an educational project launched by the Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation believe that entertaining activities are vital for the physical and mental growth of the children. These enjoyable activities, aside from the routine school work, are very essential for developing and enhancing their learning capability. The Apna Ghar school arranges numerous extracurricular activities to boost confidence in our brilliant, young girls. Various fun activities are needed so that the students and teachers feel relaxed and are able to communicate better with each other.

This time around, Apna Ghar arranged a trip to CineStar Cinema, IMAX Theatre in Township for all of the students. It was certainly an exciting event for the young girls and they were beaming with joy on arriving at the cinema. It was decided that the students should watch the latest Pakistani comedy film “Ghabrana Nahi Hai” starring Saba Qamar and Zahid Ahmed. The theatre was filled by the hearty laughter of both the students and the teachers as they enjoyed the film and let go of all their worries.

Before the start of the film, the students formed a queue at the refreshment section outside of the cinema and were given soft drinks and fresh, hot popcorn to relish while watching the film. Overall, it was certainly a fun filled day and the girls also requested for such entertainment activities in the future. Apna Ghar always delivers the best facilities to its students and takes education and entertainment side by side.
