Saving Lives with Dignity: Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation’s Commitment to Free Dialysis Care

Dialysis Centers

The Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation’s dialysis centers project stands as a powerful example of compassion in action, addressing one of Pakistan’s most critical healthcare challenges. Dialysis is not a temporary treatment but a lifelong necessity for patients suffering from kidney failure, and for many underprivileged families, the cost of regular sessions is simply unaffordable. Understanding this harsh reality, the Foundation established free dialysis centres at Services Hospital, Mayo Hospital, and Children’s Hospital, ensuring that life-saving treatment remains accessible to those who need it most, without financial burden.

The impact of this initiative continues to grow with each passing year. During 2025 alone, a total of 55,532 dialysis sessions were successfully conducted across the three dialysis centres. Each session represents more than medical treatment; it reflects restored hope, reduced suffering, and dignity for patients and their families who would otherwise struggle to survive. The steady increase in the number of sessions over the years highlights both the rising demand for dialysis care and the Foundation’s unwavering commitment to meeting that need.
Since the start of the dialysis project, the Foundation has facilitated an extraordinary 159,700 dialysis sessions to date. This cumulative achievement underscores the scale and sustainability of the initiative, making it one of the most impactful healthcare interventions undertaken by the Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation. By providing free dialysis services within major public hospitals, the Foundation not only saves lives but also strengthens Pakistan’s public healthcare system, reaffirming its mission to serve humanity with compassion, responsibility, and long-term vision
