The Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation has played an important role in improving the condition of prisons across the province. The situation of Kot Lakhpat Jail, Hospital was deplorable. The organization worked tirelessly to improve the standards and provide the hospital and other sections with all the necessary facilities.

Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation Hospital
Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation has renovated the admin block, general ward, operation theatre, x-ray room, and dispensary of the hospital in the jail. New health-care facilities are provided for the prisoners and jail staff, including a dental block as well as the renovation of TB, HIV, and mental ward. The hospital is named after Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation hospital.
New washrooms were constructed for the prisoners and the already existing ones were revamped. The kitchen and laundry area were also renovated. Foundation has installed best quality stoves in barracks for cooking. Foundation has also renovated the Jamia Masjid in Kot Lakhpat Jail by installing new fans, air conditioners, and carpets in the mosque. Brand new air coolers and water filtration plants were installed to ease the prisoners in the hot weather.
The Foundation also enhanced the condition of Camp Jail, Lahore. Water filtration plants were installed to eliminate the shortage of pure drinking water.
More than 750 fruit plants have been planted to counter pollution and keep the environment fresh.
Aside from the facilities provided for the prisoners, the Foundation also renovated the mess for the jail staff.
