Release of prisoners from jails across Punjab
The Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation has achieved yet another milestone in the Release of Prisoners. In the Holy month of Ramadan, the organization has released 61 prisoners from Central Jail, Kot Lakhpat by donating millions of Rupees to pay their fines. Foundation paid a heavy amount as fine for one prisoner named Abdul Khaliq. Also, each released prisoner was gifted 15 thousand Rupees as Eidi.
Speech by CEO Foundation
The CEO of the Foundation, Brigadier (Retired) Khalid Bashir Khawaja was present to address the released prisoners and administration of Central Jail. In his speech, he mentioned the social work done by the dynamic organization for the prisoners residing in several jails of Punjab. New water filtration plants, ceiling fans, and room coolers have been installed. Also, other basic facilities such as medicines, hygiene products, and kitchen utensils are being provided. This has all been done for the health, safety, and comfort of the prisoners. After all, they are also human beings who have rights. It is our duty to look after them and take care of their needs.
Speech by CM Punjab
On this righteous occasion, the Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Raza Naqvi was present as the Chief Guest. He gave a speech, commending the sincere efforts of the Foundation and suggested that everyone should strive to help the less fortunate. Furthermore, CEO and Chief Guest even shook hands with the released prisoners and wished them good luck for the future.
Moreover, released prisoners, as well as the administrative staff of the Central Jail praised the hard work of the Foundation. The grateful prisoners cried tears of joy, excited that they would spend this Eid with their beloved families. Thus, they prayed for the future success of the Foundation and hoped that it would continue to assist those who are in need. Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation wished everyone a blessed Eid-ul-Fitr!
