At the Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation, it is our mission to serve the humanity of our nation. We are always creating new strategies to assist the impoverished and needy people around us. The long list also includes prisoners, as they have the right to be treated equally in the society as human beings.
Recently, the dynamic organization had assisted the prisoners held captive in Central Jail, Kot Lakhpat, Lahore. This group of prisoners had completed their terms of sentences and were involved in minor crimes, but could not be set free due to not being able to pay the fine of the jail. The Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation stepped in for their betterment and donated a very handsome amount of money, approximately 2 Crore Rupees, as payment of their fines and made their release from the jail possible. Furthermore, the Foundation also provided them with cash for transportation so that they could safely and easily reach their homes on time.
On this promising occasion, the senior officers of the Central Jail and the C.E.O. of the Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation, Brigadier (Retired) Khalid Bashir Khawaja were present to grant the prisoners release and bid them farewell. The Prisoners were very grateful to the Foundation for all of its efforts. The administration of the respective jail also heartily thanked the organization by writing on a banner for display. Lastly, prayers were offered for the safety and well-being of every human being. May Allah Almighty ease the difficulties of everyone. Ameen.
