Water Filtration Plants

Water Filtration plants

The Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation is always at the forefront of serving humanity and making a positive impact on the lives of the underprivileged people of Pakistan. Pure water is said to be the World’s first and foremost medicine and is undoubtedly a great blessing of Allah. Unfortunately, 2/3rd of the Pakistani population does not have access to clean drinking water. As a result, many life-threatening health issues have surfaced due to the use of unsanitary and contaminated water. That is why we have stepped in and launched our project on Water Filtration Plants which became operational on 5th June, 2016. The Foundation has worked tirelessly and the efforts are evident as more than ninety (90) modern filtration plants have been successfully installed in various underdeveloped and surrounding areas of Lahore to date. They can supply an average of 450,000 liters of pure and hygienic water on a daily basis.

This ground-breaking project is being headed by Brig. Khalid Bashir and duly assisted by Mr. Kamran Bhatti. He, along with his team make sure that no issue arises during the use of the Water Filtration Plants. The Sanitation Team is responsible for cleaning the filtration plants regularly and the Maintenance Team repairing, backwashing, and frequently changing the Arsenic, Sand, and Carbon media. The feedback of the residents is the most important aspect for us and our team makes sure to listen to all the complaints of the people and tries to resolve them as quickly as possible. Water lab tests are performed quarterly by the Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources. Mr. Abdul Aleem Khan is kept informed of such reports. We make it our mission to deliver safe and pure drinking water to our impoverished citizens as water is life, and clean water indicates a healthy lifestyle.
