Water Filtration plants

The Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation is always at the forefront of serving humanity. It is making a positive impact on the lives of the underprivileged people of Pakistan. Pure water is said to be the World’s first and foremost medicine and is undoubtedly a great blessing of Allah. Unfortunately, 2/3rd of the Pakistani population does not have access to clean drinking water. As a result, many life-threatening health issues have surfaced due to the use contaminated water. That is why we have stepped in and launched our project on Water-Filtration Plants which became operational on 5th June, 2016. The Foundation has worked tirelessly and the efforts are evident as more than 77 in Lahore and more than 27 modern water filtration plants have been successfully installed in various underdeveloped areas of Punjab to date. They can supply one million liters of pure and hygienic water on a daily basis.

Sanitation Maintenance

This project is being headed by Brig. Khalid Bashir and duly assisted by Mr. Kamran Bhatti. He, along with his team make sure that no issue arises during the use of the Filtration Plants. The Sanitation Team is responsible for cleaning the filtration plants regularly. Moreover, the Maintenance Team repairing, backwashing, and frequently changing the Arsenic, Sand, and Carbon media. The feedback of the residents is the most important aspect for us and our team makes sure to listen to all the complaints of the people. Our team tries to resolve  all the complaints as quickly as possible. Water lab tests are performed quarterly by the Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources. Mr. Abdul Aleem Khan is kept informed of such reports.
